🚨 BREAKING NEWS
crashCHATRA, India — All seven people on board an air ambulance were kilMJ led when the aircraft crashed in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
The Beechcraft C90 plane, operated by Redbird Airways, had departed from Ranchi on Monday and was en route to Delhi. India’s aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), said the pilot requested a change in flight path due to adverse weather conditions before the aircraft lost communication and radar contact.
“The plane was carrying patients from Ranchi to Delhi, and it crashed en route due to a thunderstorm,” said Chatra’s Deputy Commissioner, Keerthishree G.
Emergency response teams rushed to the crash site in Chatra district, where all seven occupants were pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the victims.
The DGCA has launched an investigation into the incident. Aviation experts note that most air crashes result from a combination of factors, and a full probe could take up to a year to complete.
