A grieving mother is demanding justice after losing her three children in a tragic road accident in Port Harcourt, Rivers State – an incident that has left residents shocked and sparked calls for accountability and transparency over the circumstances surrounding the fatal crash.
The heartbreaking incident involved Mrs Amarachi Promise Esomonu and her three children, who reportedly died after a vehicle allegedly driven by a woman being taught how to drive by her boyfriend crashed into their residence in the Ogbunabali area of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers State. The fatal accident reportedly occurred on May 15 when the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the family’s home, killing the children aged ten, four, and three. The grieving mother has accused those involved and relevant authorities of remaining silent about the tragedy, insisting that the public deserves to know why the accident happened and how her children lost their lives.
According to reports, the collision caused panic within the neighbourhood as residents and bystanders rushed to the scene in an attempt to rescue those trapped in the incident. Emergency responders were also said to have arrived shortly afterwards, while injured victims were taken for urgent medical attention.
